Level up your social gaming with Voyager Care’s All-Ability Esports League!

Created for people with disabilities, this exciting new initiative brings together gaming, community, and friendly competition in a safe, inclusive environment.

Meet fellow gamers, try different games, and find your team—whether you love competing or simply playing for fun. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or picking up a controller for the first time, there’s a place for you.

WHEN & WHERE?

Day: Thursdays

Time: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Location: 88 Burswood Road, Burswood 6100

WHAT DOES THE LEAGUE INCLUDE?

Participants can choose between two ways to get involved:

Competitive League

For gamers who enjoy friendly competition, teamwork, and improving their skills in a structured esports environment.

The Competitive League includes:

  • Organised teams and seasonal leagues

  • Regular competitive matches and official tournaments

  • League ladders, player rankings, and individual statistics

  • Team-based gameplay and strategy

  • Live-streamed events

  • Achievements and opportunities to celebrate progress

  • Trophies, medals, and prizes, subject to sponsorship and participation

The focus is on sportsmanship, skill development, and teamwork, with support for participants to build confidence as they play.

Custom team jerseys are also planned for the future.

Social League

For participants who want to enjoy gaming and meet new people in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

The Social League includes:

  • Casual weekly gaming sessions

  • Trying a wide variety of games

  • Learning new games with support from others

  • Playing alongside like-minded gamers

  • Racing simulator hot laps and time trials

  • Building teamwork and communication skills through play

There’s no pressure to compete—participants can join in at their own pace, enjoy plenty of laughs, and be part of the community.

More than a weekly gaming session, the league creates an esports experience where everyone has the opportunity to belong and celebrate their successes.

SUPPORT & TRANSPORT

Participants are welcome to attend in the way that best suits their needs:

  • Independently, if they do not require direct support

  • With their own support worker

  • With a Voyager Care support worker, subject to availability and funding

Transport to and from the venue can also be arranged where required. Please let us know about your support and transport needs when registering.

Sessions are fully supervised by experienced staff, providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Our game selection is guided by participant interests and suitability. Games under consideration include:

  • The All-Ability Esports League is created for people with disabilities who want to enjoy gaming, meet new people, and be part of a welcoming community. Beginners and experienced gamers are welcome—there’s a place for you, whatever your skill level.

  • No experience is needed! Our supportive team helps you get started, learn new games, and build confidence. You can participate at your own pace.

  • No! Choose our Social League for relaxed gaming and making friends, or our Competitive League if you enjoy structured matches, teamwork, and improving your skills.

  • We offer a variety of gaming experiences, with the game lineup guided by participant interests and suitability. Titles under consideration include Marvel Rivals, Fortnite, Mario Kart, Overwatch, Rocket League, and Call of Duty. You can also jump into our racing simulator for F1 hot laps and time trials!

  • Sessions run on Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Voyager Care, 88 Burswood Road, Burswood WA 6100.

  • Gaming consoles and comfortable gaming stations are available at the venue, along with our racing simulator. If you use a particular controller or accessibility accessory, contact our team before attending to discuss your setup.

  • Yes! You can attend with your own support worker or independently if you don’t require direct support. A Voyager Care support worker can also be arranged, subject to availability and funding.

    All sessions are supervised by experienced staff.

  • Transport to and from the venue can be arranged where required. Let our team know when booking so we can discuss your needs and available arrangements.

  • The league is open and welcomes new participants! Contact Voyager Care to book your place. Our team can answer your questions, discuss which league suits your interests, and help arrange any support or transport you need.
