KIRSTY HESS
WHAT IS MY ROLE? Connections Coordinator
ABOUT ME:
Hi, I’m Kirsty, the Connections Coordinator at Voyager Care.
I’m all about building genuine relationships and helping people feel comfortable, supported, and understood from the very beginning. My background as a chef means I’m used to fast-paced environments, thinking on my feet, and getting creative when things don’t go to plan — which definitely comes in handy in this role.
I’m also a mum to neurodivergent children and proudly ADHD myself, so I bring a lot of lived experience into the work I do. I understand how important it is to create spaces that feel safe, flexible, and actually work for the individual — not just what looks good on paper.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me by the ocean, surrounded by plants, or trying to find a bit of calm in the chaos of everyday life.
I’m here to help make the process of getting started with Voyager feel easy, supportive, and genuinely welcoming.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MY JOB:
I love being able to build genuine connections and help people feel comfortable from the very beginning. Starting something new can feel overwhelming, so being part of making that process feel easy, supportive, and welcoming is something I really value. I also love getting to know each person and what makes them unique, and helping create an environment where they feel understood, supported, and able to be themselves. It’s incredibly rewarding to see people grow in confidence and feel more connected — even in small ways.
