We know that joining a group can feel overwhelming, especially if you experience social anxiety, low confidence, or are new to community activities. That’s why we’ve designed this group to be:

  • Low-pressure → You can join in at your own pace, whether that means diving into a game or just relaxing and watching until you feel comfortable

  • Supportive → Our staff are experienced at helping participants build confidence gently, with encouragement and no judgment

  • Inclusive → Every participant is welcomed exactly as they are, with space to connect, have fun, and grow at their own pace

This group is perfect for anyone who wants to:

  • Explore video games, board games, and card games in a relaxed space

  • Build confidence in talking, joining in, and making friends without pressure

  • Strengthen teamwork and problem-solving through play

  • Be part of a community where anxiety is understood and supported

  • Enjoy social time in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment

For participants who may have avoided groups in the past because of anxiety, this is a safe first step — a place to connect, belong, and grow confidence while having fun.
