Voyagerβs Christmas Lights Tour - WestCity Church
12th of December 2025
On 12 December 2025, the Voyager Care team and our awesome participants came together at WestCity Church for our much-loved Christmas Lights Tour, a festive evening outing celebrating the end of the year in a fun, inclusive, and supported way.
Held at night, the Christmas Lights Tour allowed participants to fully experience the magic of the festive season β glowing displays, colourful lights, and the excitement that comes with seeing the community lit up for Christmas. The evening setting added to the sense of occasion and made the experience feel extra special.
Participants were supported throughout the night by the Voyager team, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, choice, and individual needs. Everyone was encouraged to participate at their own pace, whether that meant taking time to enjoy the lights, sharing the experience with peers, or simply being part of a relaxed and festive group environment.
Night-time community activities like this play an important role in building confidence, independence, and social connection. For many participants, taking part in an evening outing provides valuable opportunities to practise routines outside of daytime activities while feeling supported and secure.
At Voyager Care, we believe meaningful supports include shared celebrations and memorable experiences. Our Christmas Lights Tour reflects our commitment to creating inclusive, joyful moments that bring people together and end the year on a positive, uplifting note.
It was a beautiful evening filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of Christmas spirit, and weβre proud to share experiences like this with our participants. We look forward to continuing this festive tradition and creating more night-time community memories together in the years to come. πβ¨
